Frequently asked questions

Camera and coaching

Does Reptiq record or upload my video?

No. Pose detection and form checks run entirely on your phone. Camera frames and body-tracking points are never recorded, uploaded or stored. Only workout results, such as reps, hold times and form scores, are saved to your account. See the Privacy Policy.

How should I set up my phone?
  • Follow the camera placement tip on the setup screen: most exercises are best seen from the side, some from the front.
  • Stand a few steps away so your whole body, head to feet, stays in view for the whole movement.
  • Train in good, even light, with a plain background if you can. Fitted clothes help the tracker see your joints.
  • Wait until the setup screen shows you're ready before you start the set.
Reps aren't counted, or the cues seem wrong

Pose tracking needs to see the joints the exercise uses. Check that your whole body is in frame, the camera is at the angle the setup screen suggests, and the room is well lit. If tracking is still unsteady, turn on High-accuracy pose tracking in Profile → Units & tracking. If a specific exercise keeps getting it wrong, email us the exercise name and what happened.

I can't hear the coach
  • Check that Voice coaching is on in Profile → Voice coaching, and that the voice isn't muted on the workout screen.
  • Turn up your phone's media volume.
  • On Android, the app uses your phone's text-to-speech engine for some phrases. If the app says no English voice is installed, tap Open settings and install one.
Workout reminders don't arrive

Reminders are part of Coach. Turn them on in Profile → Reminders, and make sure notifications are allowed for Reptiq in your phone's settings. Some Android phones stop notifications from apps under battery optimization; set Reptiq to "unrestricted" if reminders are late.

How do I change my goals or training days?

Go to Profile → Edit profile & goals. With Coach, the app offers to rebuild your program when your goals or schedule change.

Subscriptions

How does the free trial work?

All Spotter and Coach plans, monthly and annual, come with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. The store decides eligibility, and trials aren't offered in every country. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged. The Terms of Use have the details.

How do I cancel my subscription?
  • Google Play: Play Store app → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Reptiq → Cancel subscription.
  • App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Reptiq → Cancel Subscription.

You can also open the store page from Profile → Subscription → Manage subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Uninstalling the app or deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store under its refund policy. For Google Play, request one in Google Play, or email us and we will review it where Google Play allows developers to refund. For the App Store, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I paid, but the app still shows the free plan

Make sure you're signed in to the same Reptiq account you used to subscribe, and that your phone uses the same Google Play or Apple account. Then tap Profile → Subscription → Restore purchases. If that doesn't help, email us your order number from the store receipt; we never need your card details.

Account and privacy

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile → Account → Delete account. Without the app, email us. The Delete your account page explains both options and what is deleted.

How do I get a copy of my data?

Email nograveoff@gmail.com from the email address on your account. We reply within one month. The Privacy Policy lists all your rights.

Which phones does Reptiq work on?

Reptiq is launching on Android 8.0 or newer, on phones with a camera. An iPhone version is in development.
