Delete your Reptiq account
How to delete your account in Reptiq, the AI personal trainer app, and the data linked to it.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Spotter or Coach subscription, because Google Play or the App Store bills it. To stop being charged, cancel it in the store before you delete your account. On Android: Play Store app → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Reptiq → Cancel subscription.
Option 1: delete your account in the app
This is the fastest way. Your account and data are deleted immediately.
Android
- Open Reptiq and sign in.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Under Settings, tap Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Tap Delete forever to confirm.
- If asked to confirm it's you, enter your password or continue with Google or Apple.
iPhone
- Open Reptiq and sign in.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Confirm, and sign in again if asked.
When it's done, the app signs you out. For security, the app asks you to confirm your identity if you last signed in more than a few minutes ago.
Option 2: ask us by email (no app needed)
If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, email us:
- Write to nograveoff@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Reptiq account".
- Send it from the email address you use to sign in to Reptiq, or include that address in the message. If you used Sign in with Apple with "Hide My Email", include the relay address Apple created for Reptiq (you can find it in your Apple Account settings under Sign in with Apple).
- We will confirm the request with that address before deleting anything, so that no one else can delete your account.
- We delete your account and data within 30 days, usually within a few days, and email you when it's done.
What we delete
- Your sign-in account: email address, name, sign-in methods and password.
- Your fitness profile: sex, birth year, height, weight, target weight, goals, experience, activity level, equipment, schedule, physical limitations and focus areas.
- Your settings.
- Your programs, weekly plans, workout history, form scores, coach summaries, streaks and totals.
- Reports you sent about AI-written text.
- Your devices' push notification tokens.
- Any files stored under your account on our servers.
- Your customer record at RevenueCat, our subscription provider.
- Our records of subscription events linked to your account.
Camera video and body-tracking data are never uploaded, so there is nothing of that kind to delete on our servers.
What we keep, and for how long
| Data | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase and payment records at Google Play or the App Store | Google and Apple process your payments and keep their own records, for example for tax and refunds. We can't delete them. | Set by Google's and Apple's policies. |
| Server logs that contain your account ID | Security and troubleshooting. They don't contain your profile or workouts. | Up to 30 days. |
| Weekly-plan generation records (Coach) | Short-lived records that match AI results to programs. They contain your account ID but no profile details. | Deleted automatically within 30 days. Our AI provider, Anthropic, deletes batch results within 29 days. |
| Records of subscription events | Normally deleted with your account. If that cleanup fails, they expire on their own. | At most 90 days. |
| Usage analytics and crash reports | Linked to an app-installation identifier, not to your account, so we can't single them out. Uninstalling the app resets that identifier. | Analytics up to 14 months; crash reports 90 days. |
| Copies in our cloud provider's backups | Google's internal backup systems are overwritten on a schedule. The data isn't used in the meantime. | Typically up to about 180 days. |
| Your email deletion request (Option 2 only) | A record that we completed your request: your email address, the request and the date. | Up to 24 months. |
Data on your phone: uninstall Reptiq to remove everything the app stored on your phone, such as cached data and downloaded voice clips. If Android backup is on, you can also delete the app's backup in your Google account's backup settings.
Delete some data without deleting your account
- Profile: change your answers in the app under Profile → Edit profile & goals.
- Workout history or programs: email nograveoff@gmail.com from your account email and tell us what to delete (for example all workouts, or a single workout). We do this within 30 days.
- Notifications: signing out removes that device's push token. You can also turn off reminders in the app, or notifications in your phone's settings.
