Terms of Use
Health and safety first
Reptiq gives general fitness guidance. It is not medical advice and not a medical device. Talk to a doctor before you start, and stop right away if you feel pain. Read section 3 before you train.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Ihor Zakharov ("Reptiq", "we", "us") for the Reptiq mobile apps, their features and this website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you have read our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Who can use Reptiq
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live (18 in most places), a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you and should supervise your training. Where local law sets a higher age for using online services without parental consent (up to 16 in some EU countries), you need a parent's consent to use Reptiq.
- You must give accurate profile information, such as your age, height, weight and physical limitations, because the Service uses it to choose exercises.
- One account per person. Your account is for your own personal, non-commercial use.
3. Health and safety
- Not medical advice. Reptiq provides general fitness information and coaching. It is not a medical device and doesn't diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and it doesn't replace a doctor, physiotherapist or qualified trainer.
- Check with a doctor first, especially if you are pregnant or recently gave birth, have a heart, lung or blood-pressure condition, diabetes, an injury, joint or back problems, recent surgery, or any other health condition, or if you haven't exercised in a long time.
- Stop if it hurts. Stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, faintness, chest pain or pressure, unusual shortness of breath or an irregular heartbeat. If symptoms are serious, call your local emergency number.
- Selecting a limitation doesn't make an exercise safe for you. The app avoids exercises flagged for the limitations you choose, but it can't know your medical situation. Follow your health professional's advice over the app's.
- Your space and equipment. Train on a stable, non-slip surface with enough room around you. Place your phone where it can't fall or be stepped on. Check that any equipment you use is in good condition and suitable for your weight and strength.
- Estimates are estimates. Calorie figures, form scores and progress numbers are approximate.
- You are responsible for your training. You decide what to do and how hard to push. To the extent the law allows, you take part at your own risk.
4. Limits of AI and camera feedback
Reptiq uses on-device pose estimation, fixed form rules and, for Coach features, AI language models. These technologies are useful but imperfect:
- Pose tracking can be wrong because of lighting, camera angle or distance, loose clothing, objects or other people in view, or parts of your body leaving the frame. Reps can be miscounted, and form cues can be late, missing or wrong.
- A form score is an automated estimate. It doesn't certify that a movement is safe or correct for you.
- Programs and workout summaries are generated by AI and rule-based software. They are checked against fixed rules but can still contain mistakes or be unsuitable for you. Use your own judgment and skip anything that doesn't feel right.
- The coaching voice is synthetic, and exercise demo videos may be AI-generated.
Don't rely on the Service as your only source of safety information.
5. Your account
You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Google or Apple. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us at nograveoff@gmail.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account, unless it happened because of our fault. You can delete your account at any time; see Delete your account.
6. Subscriptions, trials and payments
Plans
The exercise library, with instructions and animated demos, is free. Live form coaching needs a Spotter subscription. The adaptive program, reminders and AI workout summaries need a Coach subscription, which includes everything in Spotter. The app describes each plan's features before you buy.
Prices
| Plan | Monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|
| Spotter | $9.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial | $49.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial |
| Coach | $19.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial | $99.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial |
Prices in other countries, and any taxes, are set by Google Play or the App Store and shown before you confirm a purchase. The price shown in the store at the time of purchase is the price you pay.
Billing
You buy subscriptions through Google Play or the App Store, and payment is charged to that store account when you confirm the purchase or, with a free trial, when the trial ends. We don't process or see your payment details.
Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period (a month or a year) at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The store charges the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
Free trials
All Spotter and Coach plans, monthly and annual, include a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. The store decides eligibility: for example, Google Play may limit trials to people who have never had a Reptiq subscription, and the App Store allows one introductory offer per subscription group. Trials are not offered in every country. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged the price of your plan. If you cancel during a trial you won't be charged; depending on the store, your access may end right away.
Cancelling
Cancel in your store account at any time, or use Manage subscription in the app's Profile:
- Google Play: open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Reptiq → Cancel subscription.
- App Store: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions → Reptiq → Cancel Subscription.
After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
Changing plans
Upgrading from Spotter to Coach takes effect right away, and the store adjusts the charge for the unused part of your current plan. Downgrading from Coach to Spotter, or switching from annual to monthly billing, takes effect at your next renewal. On Google Play, switching from monthly to annual billing on the same plan takes effect right away, with credit for the unused time. Exact handling follows the store's rules.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices. The store will notify you in advance as its rules require and, where they or the law require it, ask for your consent. If you don't want to pay the new price, cancel before it applies.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store under its refund policy. For Google Play purchases, you can request a refund in Google Play; you can also email us and we will review the request where Google Play allows developers to issue refunds. For App Store purchases, request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Except where the law or the store's policy requires otherwise, we don't give refunds or credits for partial periods. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under consumer law, including any right to withdraw from a purchase.
Restoring purchases
If you reinstall the app or switch devices on the same store account, use Restore purchases in the app's Profile.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break any law or anyone else's rights while using the Service;
- copy, decompile, reverse engineer or modify the apps, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
- get around subscription checks, security rules or rate limits, or access the Service in ways it doesn't offer (for example by calling our servers directly or with automated tools);
- overload, disrupt or probe the Service for vulnerabilities without our written permission (please report security issues to us instead);
- scrape or extract the exercise catalog, demo videos, voice clips or AI output, or use them to build a competing product or to train AI models;
- share, sell or rent your account, or use the Service to coach other people commercially;
- point the camera at other people without their permission.
8. Your data and feedback
Your profile and workout data belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them as needed to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. The programs and summaries the Service creates for you are for your personal use.
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
9. Our intellectual property
The Service, including the apps, software, exercise catalog and instructions, form rules, demo animations and videos, voice clips, design and the Reptiq name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, under these Terms and the rules of the store you got them from. Open-source components are licensed under their own terms. We keep all rights we don't expressly grant.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on others, including Google (Firebase, Google Play and Google sign-in), Apple (App Store and Sign in with Apple), RevenueCat and Anthropic. Their own terms apply to your use of their services, and we aren't responsible for them.
11. Changes to the service
We regularly add, change and remove features, exercises and content. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
12. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if we must do so by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and explain why. If we close your account for reasons other than your breach of these Terms, we will help you get a refund of the unused part of any prepaid period, where the store allows it. Sections 3, 4, 8, 9 and 13 to 18 continue to apply after your account ends.
13. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI or camera feedback will be accurate, or that you will reach any fitness result. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms. Our total liability for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim and US$50.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep your statutory rights.
15. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you will compensate us for reasonable losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from claims by others caused by your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
16. App store terms
Google Play
If you got the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your download and purchases.
Apple App Store
If you got the app from the App Store, you and we agree that:
- these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content;
- your license is limited to using the app on Apple-branded products you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions;
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app;
- if the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you can notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app;
- we, not Apple, are responsible for any claims relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims;
- we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging any claim that the app infringes someone else's intellectual property rights;
- you confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties;
- you must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use the app; and
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and can enforce them against you.
Questions or complaints about the app go to us at nograveoff@gmail.com.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be decided by the courts of Kyiv, Ukraine, which have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, this doesn't take away the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim in your local courts where that law gives you one.
Before starting a formal dispute, please email us at nograveoff@gmail.com so we can try to solve the problem. Most issues can be fixed quickly.
18. General
- These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- If we don't enforce a right immediately, we haven't waived it.
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, as long as your rights aren't reduced.
- We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- We may send notices about the Service to your account email address or show them in the app.
- These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version prevails where the law allows.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless it is required sooner by law or for security. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
